Growing up, I saw how hard it was for my mom to be a non-earning, stay-at-home mom pero may utang yan sya ha. Kahit bata pa ako noon, I could see the stress, the worry, and the limitations that came with not having money of your own.

Because of that, I would quietly tell myself and visualize it over and over again: when I become a mom, I will keep working.

And then motherhood happened.

When I became a mom, I quickly realized how much of myself I was willing to give for my family. My time, energy, sleep, and literally my whole being.
